Our annual have a go day on Sunday 30th April was a great success with 53 archery first timers coming along.  With these unbelievable numbers the afternoon turned into to an organized chaos (or should that be disorganized)

The day was met with changeable weather, but thankully the afternoon was dry, with the only rain starting to appear as we were packing away.

 Our Coaches (Clive, Sue, Simon, John & Cochise) spent 3 1/2 hours non stop showing how it's done, with quite some success! I think it would be true to say that they all slept sondly that night!

Most people had-a-go for about 20 minutes, during wich time, the basic techiques of archery were shown, golds were scored and the occasional chear resounded!

Unfortunately, with the numbers that turned up (over twice what we've had before), there were some queing problems with a wait for some at over 45 minutes!  Some were disappointed as they were not able to wait.  We hope we can accomodate them in the future.

During the day, we filled up our remaining spaces on the first beginners course.  Demand is such that we will be having a second course starting Mid June (Details to follow soon)

One last thing....Did you lose anything on the day? I have in my posession a jumper.  If you think it's yours, please let me know.
